## How do you write i love you in Chinese calligraphy?

I love you is 我爱你 (wǒ ài nǐ). I love you, word for word “I love you”: 我 I, 爱 love, 你 you.

## Which script should I choose for 我爱你?

Regular script (楷书) is the one every Chinese reader can read, so it suits a tattoo, a gift or a sign. Running script (行书) looks handwritten and still reads easily. Cursive (草书) is the most beautiful and the hardest to read.

## Is this real calligraphy?

These are brush fonts, made from a calligrapher’s writing, so every copy of a character looks the same. A calligrapher’s own hand changes each stroke with the brush and the ink. For something to keep, such as a tattoo, have a calligrapher write it.
