# 黄鹤楼送孟浩然之广陵 Seeing Meng Haoran Off to Guangling

Li Bai watching his friend’s sail vanish down the Yangtze from the Yellow Crane Tower, in the third month, when the flowers are like mist.

gù故rén人xī西cí辞huáng黄hè鹤lóu楼，

My old friend says goodbye in the west at Yellow Crane Tower;

yān烟huā花sān三yuè月xià下yáng扬zhōu州。

in the third month, misty with flowers, he goes down to Yangzhou.

gū孤fān帆yuǎn远yǐng影bì碧kōng空jìn尽，

His lone sail’s far shadow fades into the blue sky;

wéi唯jiàn见cháng长jiāng江tiān天jì际liú流。

all I see is the Yangtze flowing to the edge of the sky.
