# 望庐山瀑布 Gazing at the Lushan Waterfall

Purple mist on Incense Burner Peak and a waterfall falling three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way had dropped from the sky.

rì日zhào照xiāng香lú炉shēng生zǐ紫yān烟，

The sun on Incense Burner Peak raises a purple mist;

yáo遥kàn看pù瀑bù布guà挂qián前chuān川。

far off, a waterfall hangs over the river.

fēi飞liú流zhí直xià下sān三qiān千chǐ尺，

It flies straight down three thousand feet,

yí疑shì是yín银hé河luò落jiǔ九tiān天。

as if the Milky Way were falling from the highest heaven.
