# 清明 Qingming

Rain at the Qingming festival, a traveller sunk in sorrow, and a cowherd pointing to an inn in Apricot Blossom Village. Read every year at the festival.

qīng清míng明shí时jié节yǔ雨fēn纷fēn纷，

At Qingming the rain falls without end;

lù路shàng上xíng行rén人yù欲duàn断hún魂。

travellers on the road are heartbroken.

jiè借wèn问jiǔ酒jiā家hé何chù处yǒu有，

May I ask where there is a tavern?

mù牧tóng童yáo遥zhǐ指xìng杏huā花cūn村。

A cowherd points far off to Apricot Blossom Village.
