# 相思 Thinking of You

Red beans grow in the south, and in Chinese they are “beans of longing”: pick plenty, says the poet, they are what love is made of.

hóng红dòu豆shēng生nán南guó国，

Red beans grow in the southern land;

chūn春lái来fā发jǐ几zhī枝。

when spring comes, how many sprigs will grow?

yuàn愿jūn君duō多cǎi采xié撷，
