# 华容道

The Huarong Road

原来孔明一回到玄德那里，便立即升帐调兵：命赵云埋伏在乌林一带的小路上，张飞埋伏在葫芦口，各自截杀曹操的败兵。众将都领命去了，唯独关羽站在一旁，孔明却看也不看他一眼。

关羽忍不住道：“关某跟随兄长征战多年，从未落后。今日遇到大敌，军师却不用我，这是什么意思？”孔明道：“当年曹操对将军非常好，今日他兵败，必走华容道，将军去了，一定会放他过去。”关羽道：“当年颜良和文丑两员大将都死在我刀下，我早就报答过他了。今日若撞见，岂肯放过！”孔明道：“倘若放了呢？”关羽道：“愿依军法！”当即立下了军令状。

孔明道：“将军可在华容道旁的高山上堆起柴草，放一把火，引曹操来。”关羽问：“曹操望见烟，知道有埋伏，怎肯来？”孔明笑道：“兵法讲虚虚实实。他见了烟，以为我们虚张声势，偏会往这条路走。”关羽领兵去了。玄德担心道：“我二弟义气深重，曹操若真走华容道，只怕他会放了。”孔明道：“我夜观天象，曹操命不该绝。留下这个人情让云长去还，也是一件美事。”

曹操逃到乌林以西，见树木丛生，山势险峻，忽然在马背上仰天大笑。众将问他笑什么，曹操道：“我不笑别人，单笑周瑜无谋，孔明少智。若是我用兵，就在这里埋伏一军。”话音未落，鼓声震天，赵云杀了出来。

天亮时下起大雨，人马又冷又饿，逃到葫芦口，埋锅造饭。曹操坐在林下，又仰面大笑：“若是孔明、周瑜在此伏下一军，我们就全完了。”话还没说完，张飞横矛立马，大喝：“曹操，你往哪里走！”曹军丢盔弃甲，又逃。

前面有两条路：大路平坦，却远五十多里；小路通往华容道，路程短五十多里，可是地窄路险。小路山边有几处烟起，大路却没有动静。曹操道：“兵书说：虚则实之，实则虚之。孔明故意在小路烧烟，是要我们走大路，他就可以在大路埋伏。我偏不中他的计！”于是走了华容道。

华容道上雨后泥泞，马蹄陷在泥里，寸步难行。曹操命兵士搬土砍柴，填平道路，很多人被活活踩死。走出险处，曹操回头一看，只剩下三百余骑。他扬鞭大笑：“人都说周瑜、孔明足智多谋，依我看都是无能之辈。若在此处埋伏一支人马，我们只有束手就擒了！”

话音刚落，一声炮响，五百名刀手两边排开，为首一员大将，手提青龙偃月刀，跨下赤兔马，拦住去路，正是关云长。曹军见了，个个亡魂丧胆。曹操只得纵马上前，欠身道：“将军别来无恙！”关羽道：“关某奉军师将令，在此等候丞相多时。”曹操道：“我兵败势危，到此无路，望将军以昔日之情为重。将军当年过五关斩六将，还记得吗？大丈夫以信义为重啊！”

关羽义气深重，想起当年曹操的种种恩义，又见曹军人人含泪，心中越发不忍，便拨回马头，对部下说：“四散摆开。”曹操见关羽回马，便同众将一齐冲了过去。

关羽回到营中，对孔明说：“关某特来请死。”孔明喝令把他拉出去斩首，玄德忙道：“当年我们三人结义，誓同生死。二弟虽然犯法，我不忍违背当年的誓言，望军师暂且记下他的罪过，容他将功赎罪。”孔明于是饶了他。

赤壁一战，曹操退回北方，孙权稳据江东，玄德也渐渐有了立足之地，三国鼎立的局面已隐然可见。而夹在三家之间的荆州，谁都想要。
