# 舌战群儒

Zhuge Liang Against the Scholars

诸葛亮到了东吴，才知道曹操已经送来一封信，说要带一百万大军，请孙权“一起打猎”。谁都明白，这是让孙权投降。孙权手下的读书人都害怕了，大多劝他听曹操的。

第二天，鲁肃先带诸葛亮去见这些读书人。坐在最前面的张昭第一个开口：“听说刘备三次去请先生，得到先生就像鱼得到了水。可是先生一来，刘备就丢了新野，一路往南跑，这是为什么？”

诸葛亮笑了笑说：“一个人病得很厉害，应该先让他喝点儿粥，吃点儿药，等身体慢慢好了，再给他吃肉、吃猛药。刘备只有几千人马，在新野还打了两次胜仗。后来走得慢，是因为十几万老百姓跟着他，他不愿意丢下他们。大事要慢慢来，哪能只看一两次的输赢？”张昭听了，说不出话来。

又有人问：“曹操有一百万大军、一千个大将，先生怕不怕？”诸葛亮说：“曹操的人马，很多是从袁绍、刘表那里抢来的，人再多也不用怕。反而是你们东吴，兵多粮足，又有长江挡着，却要劝主人向曹操低头，这才可笑！”

接着又有好几个人来问，有的还笑他，诸葛亮一个一个地回答，说得大家都没话说了。最后，老将黄盖走进来说：“曹操的大军就要到了，你们不想办法打仗，却在这里斗嘴！”大家这才不说话了。

鲁肃带诸葛亮去见孙权，路上对他说：“千万不要说曹操人多。”诸葛亮只是笑。孙权问：“曹操到底有多少人马？”诸葛亮说：“一百多万。仔细算一算，有一百五十万。我说一百万，是怕吓着东吴的人。”鲁肃在旁边急得脸都白了。

诸葛亮又说：“将军要是觉得能赢，就早点儿开战；要是觉得赢不了，不如早点儿投降。”孙权问：“那刘备为什么不投降？”诸葛亮说：“刘备是汉朝皇帝的后代，天下的人都尊敬他。就是输了，那也是天意，怎么能去做曹操的手下呢？”孙权一听，脸色都变了，站起来就走了。

鲁肃怪诸葛亮说话太难听。诸葛亮笑道：“我有打败曹操的办法。他不问，我当然不说。”鲁肃连忙去请孙权。孙权回来，认真地听诸葛亮说：曹军走了很远的路，已经很累了；北方人不会在水上打仗；荆州的人也不是真的想跟着曹操。孙权终于决定要打。

可是张昭他们又来劝他不要开战，孙权又不知道怎么办了。他想起哥哥孙策死前留下的话：“外面的事不知道怎么办，就问周瑜。”这时周瑜不在，孙权马上派人去叫他回来。

晚上，鲁肃带诸葛亮去见周瑜。诸葛亮故意说：“我有个办法，不用打仗，曹操就会走。曹操建了一座高台，叫铜雀台。听说他想要东吴的两个美人，大乔和小乔，住在台上。只要把她们送过去，曹操一定高兴地走了。”

周瑜听完，气得站起来，指着北边大骂：“曹操欺人太甚！”诸葛亮假装吃惊：“将军这是怎么了？”周瑜说：“大乔是孙策将军的妻子，小乔就是我的妻子！”诸葛亮连忙说：“我真不知道，说错话了！”周瑜说：“我一定要跟曹操决一死战！”

第二天，周瑜对孙权说，曹操这次是来送死的。孙权拿出宝剑，一剑砍下了桌子的一角：“谁再说投降，就跟这张桌子一样！”然后，他让周瑜带兵去打曹操。

周瑜接过剑走了出来。可是他心里想的不是曹操，而是诸葛亮：“这个人太聪明了，比曹操还可怕。将来一定是东吴的大祸。”
