# Romance of the Three Kingdoms in Chinese

三国演义 Sānguó Yǎnyì

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is 三国演义 (Sānguó Yǎnyì) in Chinese: 三国 means “three kingdoms” and 演义 “a historical romance”. The kingdoms are 魏 Wèi, 蜀 Shǔ and 吴 Wú, led by 曹操 Cáo Cāo, 刘备 Liú Bèi and 孙权 Sūn Quán, and the names are the same in Dynasty Warriors and Total War: Three Kingdoms.
