How to print it
Print opens your browser’s print window. Choose your printer, or Save as PDF to keep it or send it to a class. The sheet fits A4 and US Letter, and each character stays on one page.
What’s on the sheet
Each character with its pinyin, meaning and stroke count, then every stroke in order, the new one in colour. The first row has one to copy and four to trace; each row after starts with one to trace. Up to 40 characters a sheet, each once.
米字格 or 田字格?
田字格 splits each box into four, as Chinese schoolbooks do. 米字格 adds the diagonals, which help place slanted strokes like 人 and 火. Plain is an empty box, for writing from memory.
Share a sheet
The address keeps your characters and choices, so copy it to send the same sheet to a class. / jumps to the box.
