Do I give you my Du Chinese password?

No. You open your own word list on duchinese.net, signed in there as usual, and copy it. We never see your Du account, and nothing is read from Du for you.

Does my progress carry over?

Each word’s next review does. Du’s list says when every saved word is due, so a word Du would show next month comes back next month, and one due now is first in Review. Du doesn’t share its answer history, so the schedule starts from that date. Words you saved but never studied come in new.

What if the link shows an error?

Sign in on duchinese.net first, then open the link again. On the Du app on a phone, use its Export to Anki or Pleco instead and drop that file here: the words come in, without their dates.

Can I keep using Du Chinese?

Yes. Nothing changes in Du. Bring the list in again later and only the new words are added; the ones already in your Backpack stay as they are.

What about The Chairman’s Bao, Pleco or Hack Chinese?

Export your words as a CSV or text file there (The Chairman’s Bao: Word Bank › Export) and drop it here. Every Chinese word in it comes in as a word to learn, its pinyin checked against ours.
