Type pinyin, with tones or without, and pick each word in Chinese characters, most common first.

Typing pinyin
Type it as you say it: nihao, ni hao or ni3 hao3. Tones are optional; a word with the tones you typed comes first. Type v for ü, as in nv for 女.
Picking words
The words that sound like the start of your pinyin show under the box, longest and most common first, with their meaning. Press one, or Enter for the first, and it joins the Chinese.
