English (for the teacher)
At six in the morning, Dad got up.
He said, “Monday! I don’t want to go to work.”
Dad was sleepy, so sleepy.
He went to drink his tea. One sip, and something was wrong. There was only hot water in the cup, no tea.
He went to put on his shoes. Something was wrong again. The left shoe was on his right foot, and the right shoe was on his left foot.
He came into my room and called me: “Get up, quick! Time for school!”
I looked at Dad’s shoes and laughed.
I said, “Dad, today is wrong too. Today is Sunday.”
Dad looked at his phone. It really was Sunday.
He didn’t say a word, got back into bed and went to sleep.
The next morning, it really was Monday, and Dad was still asleep. I went into his room and called him: “Get up, quick, it’s time for work!”
