English (for the teacher)
It was Saturday, and it was very hot. Our whole family went to the park.
Dad said, “I’ll go and buy some drinks. What do you all want?”
Mum said, “I’d like a coffee.” My sister said, “I’d like milk.” I said, “I want juice!” Grandma said, “I’ll have tea.”
Dad said, “Fine, fine, I’ve got it all.”
A little later, Dad came back. He had bought five bottles of water.
“Dad! Where’s the coffee? Where’s the milk? Where’s the juice?”
Dad said, “Sorry, I forgot.”
None of us were happy. But it was so hot, and we were all really thirsty. We finished all five bottles in no time.
Grandma said, “Water is the best drink after all.”
Just then, I saw there was still a bottle of cola in Dad’s bag.
Dad looked at me and smiled. “This one, I didn’t forget.”
