English (for the teacher)
On Thursday, Niuniu’s red cup went missing too. It is her favourite cup, with a little kitten on it.
She searched the flat all morning and didn’t find it.
In the afternoon, she went upstairs to see Dawei. Dawei is nine, and he is her good friend.
“Dawei, have you seen my red cup?”
Dawei said at once, “I don’t know! I don’t know anything!”
He talked far too fast, and his face went red.
Niuniu wrote in her notebook: Dawei, talks too fast.
Back home, she saw Mum’s notebook on the table. In it was written: Saturday, dumplings, milk, little bed. Don’t tell Niuniu!
When Mum saw Niuniu, she picked up the notebook at once and walked off.
Don’t tell Niuniu what?
