English (for the teacher)
At eight in the morning, the teacher comes in, looks at her desk and says, “Where are my glasses?”
She looks on the desk, in her bag, and by the door too. Nowhere!
We can all see them. The glasses are on the teacher’s head!
Tongtong says, “Miss, your glasses…” She looks at the teacher and laughs.
Leilei says, “Miss, look up!” The teacher looks up and says, “There’s nothing up there.”
We all really want to laugh. Don’t laugh! Don’t laugh!
In the end I say, “Miss, your glasses are on your head!”
The teacher takes the glasses off her head, looks at them and laughs too. We all laugh.
At lunchtime I say, “Where’s my phone?” I look in my bag and under my desk. The teacher laughs again. The phone is in my hand!
